This unusual property of was once a milling house, driven
either by donkey power, or possibly a steam engine. Much of
the large granite blocks used in its building have been left
exposed, giving it great character. Richard Trevithick, inventor
of the first steam locomotive, is reputed to have links with
Trengove Farm.
The living area is open plan and comprises of a kitchen
diner and lounge. The green shaker style kitchen is well
equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge
freezer, and there is a dining table which will seat four
people. The lounge has comfortable seating, coffee table,
sideboard, colour television and DVD player.
Leading from the living area is the bedroom with a double
bed and pine bedroom furniture. The en-suite bathroom has
a bath with a shower over, wc wash basin, and heated towel
rail.
Central heating is included in the price during the cooler
months and there is a separate laundry room just a few yards
away, with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a choice of seating either outside The Roundhouse, or in the sunny field behind the properties where a footpath leads down to Portreath.

We stayed in the Roundhouse at Trengove. It was every thing we could wish for for homely, comfortable, relaxing, clean, beautiful surrounding floral displays, the service was second to none.
A perfect base for exploring Cornwall we would without doubt return again next year.
