Although there only two bedrooms, a double
and a twin, this is a far more spacious property, being part
of the main farmhouse.
The entrance is on the courtyard side of the property and
leads into the kitchen/dining room, where there is a range
of kitchen units with electric oven, hob, fridge-freezer,
microwave, washing machine and pine dining table and chairs.
A door from here leads to the spacious lounge with comfortable
furniture, coffee table, colour television and DVD player.
This is a room of great character, with a very old stained
glass window looking out onto the courtyard, timber floor
and exposed stone walls around the fireplace area. The wide
carpeted staircase is lit by a tall stained glass arched
window.
The first room at the top of the landing is the newly refurbished,
very attractive bathroom with bath, basin, wc and separate
shower. There is a large airing cupboard here which is very
useful for drying wet clothes during the winter months. Further
along the passageway is the twin room with built in wardrobe
and dressing table, and a window which overlooks the courtyard.
At the end of the passageway is the main bedroom, which is
very large, with windows on both sides of the room, one being
another arched window with stained glass overlooking the garden.
Trengove is decorated and furnished in a traditional style
in keeping with the mellow character of the house. A sheltered
patio area, accessed from the dining room, catches most of
the daytime and early evening sun. Electricity, central heating
during the winter, bed linen and towels are all included in
the price.
