Electric Car charging

Planning on staying with an electric car? With the nearest golden sandy beach a little over a mile away and some of the county’s best attractions within half an hour by car, range anxiety is something you won’t need to pack this holiday.

When you do need to recharge, we have 2 x 22Kw untethered EV chargers available for you to use throughout your stay with us. Ever had problems charging? Our units couldn’t be easier to use. Simply bring your charging lead and download the FUUSE app to your smartphone and you’re good to go. You’ll find full instructions on using the EV chargers in the guestbook inside your cottage.

We have five cottages sleeping between 2 and 6 people, all well equipped with everything you need on your holiday. They’re great if you’re staying as a two, or bringing the family with you.

"Thank you for a lovely holiday. We stayed in The Gew and it was very clean and tidy and the owners were very welcoming. The place was warm and everything was as we would have wanted. There was a beautiful vase of flowers on the table, a bottle of bubbles and a box of the most delicious biscuits waiting for us on arrival!"

My husband and I stayed at Trengrove cottage for a week. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great, walking distance from Portreath. We used the cottage as a base to recce stretches of the coastal path for the Arc of attrition race at the end of January. We will definitely be back

"We had a very enjoyable stay in the lovely spacious Trengove Wing which was very clean and peaceful. There are numerous footpaths to explore from the farm and the owner gave us a lot of information about the history of the buildings which was fascinating. A good place to eat is the Portreath Arms Hotel."
