Stay with us
Because this cottage is part of the main farmhouse you’ll never be short of space! It comes with a double and twin room and is ideal for families.
The entrance is on the courtyard side of the property and leads into the kitchen/dining room, where there is a well-equipped range of kitchen units with a stunning granite worktop. A door from here leads to the lounge, a room of great character that oozes cosiness, with a very old stained glass window looking out onto the courtyard, and exposed stone walls around the fireplace.
The wide carpeted staircase is lit by a tall stained glass arched window.
The first room at the top of the landing is a roomy, attractive bathroom with bath, basin, wc and separate shower. There is a large airing cupboard here which is very useful for drying wet clothes during the winter months. Further along the passageway is the twin room with built in wardrobe and dressing table, and a window which overlooks the courtyard. At the end of the passageway is the main bedroom with an en suite bathroom. There are windows on both sides of this room, one being another arched window with stained glass overlooking the owner’s private garden.
Trengove is decorated and furnished in a traditional style in keeping with the mellow character of the house. A sheltered patio area, accessed from the dining room, catches most of the daytime and early evening sun.
Parking is outside the entrance.
